Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

1. Collection & Processing of Personal Information

When registering on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) portal, submitting a manuscript, conducting peer review, or interacting with the journal platform, the journal collects the following categories of data:

Identification & Contact Details

Full legal name, salutation/academic titles, email address, contact phone number, and institutional physical mailing address.

Scholarly & Professional Metadata

Primary institutional affiliation, department, country of residence, ORCID iD, discipline specializations, and short biographical overview.

Editorial & Reviewer History

Submission timestamps, peer-review comments, editorial correspondence, conflict of interest declarations, and publishing agreements.

2. How Personal Information is Utilized

All personal information entered into this portal is used strictly for legitimate scholarly and publishing purposes, including:

  • Managing editorial triage, peer evaluation, copyediting, and production workflows.
  • Administering the double-blind peer-review system while preserving mutual anonymity between authors and reviewers.
  • Publishing author names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs on finalized article layouts and persistent Crossref DOI records.
  • Delivering table of contents (e-TOC) alerts, publication announcements, and essential editorial correspondence.
  • Maintaining the permanent integrity, traceability, and ethical compliance of the scholarly scientific record.

3. Indexing, Archiving & Artificial Intelligence Protections

Scholarly Metadata Indexing & Preservation

In accordance with global Open Access publishing standards, essential bibliographic metadata of published articles (author names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, article titles, abstracts, and citations) is distributed to scholarly indexing systems and long-term digital preservation repositories (including Crossref, Google Scholar, OpenAlex, the PKP Preservation Network, and related discovery registries).

Strict AI Confidentiality Mandate (COPE & WAME Compliant): Submitted manuscripts, unpublished research data, peer review critiques, and author identities are privileged records. Editors, reviewers, and administrative staff are strictly prohibited from entering, uploading, or processing unpublished manuscript files or user data through external generative AI systems, public large language models (LLMs), or web-based chatbots.

4. Data Security, Profile Rights & Contact Office

Registered contributors maintain full control over their account data on the portal and have the right to:

  • Log in at any time to review, update, or edit personal profile details and notification preferences.
  • Request the deactivation of user accounts (subject to permanent scientific archiving requirements for published research).
  • Opt out of non-essential editorial announcements and newsletters.
